An Italian Biscuit launch was top of mind following a recent Peralta Family Sweet Tour of Italy. We returned home with a vision to launch a new range of handmade Italian Biscuits made in the traditional slow way.
Inspired by the Italians causally sitting at cafes dipping Biscotti (Cantucci) to a Latte we created a range of Italian Biscuits. Not the machine punched type but rather the traditional small-batch Italian biscuits often found only as a result of the generous laboring of the Mama of the house.

We searched far and wide across Italy following recommendations and suggestions for the best Italian Biscuits. Fueled with the knowledge and the desire to enjoy a coffee dunking a beautiful fresh Biscotti back at home, we returned, briefed our Chef and then set about handcrafting the Italian Biscuits in the Dello Mano Kitchen.

Dello Mano began after a life-changing family trip to Italy. There we fell in love with the way Italians gifted food and the way they revered real, slow handmade food. We created Dello Mano back in 2006 as a response to the experience. Dello Mano is corrupted Italian for "of the Hand" and to this day we hand make is slow, traditional methods our many treat offerings. We travel back to Italy as much as we can albeit limited with a family and a small business. Each and every time though we come back inspired to do more to support handmade real and slow food.
